Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present article is to determine some notions that have been introduced in a recently published paper. The results can be summed up as follows: 1. There are no grounds to name the supreme proto-Bulgarian God Tagra. His name is Tangra. 2. No data are available for the considering of Tobi and Apsatji as part of the proto-Bulgarian pantheon. Special attention deserves Ummahan who brings us to the ancient Turkic female deity Umaj. 3. No mention of a pantheon is preserved with the proto-Bulgarians who lived at that side of the Danube, but serious data are available about their monotheism. 4. The ancient Turkic deity Tengri is not enantiosemitic, i. e. impersonal. Tengri-Khan is a personified deity with obvious anthropomorphic features. 5. There are many similarities between Tangra and Tejri, mainly in their characteristics and functions; the data are presented in a table.
