Summary/Abstract: The development of GDP per capita differs in regions of the Slovak Republic (SR), with the highest value in the Bratislava region in the long term. The development of this indicator is an important factor for the economic growth of each region. The main objective of this contribution is to model the development of GDP per capita in regions of the Slovak Republic and to forecast the future development of this economic indicator. Empirical data were obtained from the database of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic within the period 1995-2023. Methods of time series analysis were applied to the data and results were evaluated using the method of analysis, synthesis and comparison. Obtained forecasts of GDP per capita development in the regions of the Slovak Republic will be useful as a basis for the creation of public policies, regional development and strategic planning.
