Summary/Abstract: The article refers to the issue of direct injection. This is a new technology used by broadcasters. It is relevant to copyright law. The obligation to implement the relevant regulations in the field in question came to the Polish legislator from EU law. The idea behind the establishment of regulations relating to direct injection is as follows. Direct injection is not, in itself, a field of exploitation of a work (subject of related rights). It is a kind of technology that can be used both in the process of primary broadcasting and in the process of rebroadcasting (secondary broadcasting). Emphasizing this is important because it is not without significance for the enforcement of various copyright pro- visions. Some of them are important for creators (as they relate to remuneration for the exploitation of a work). The author analyzes the concept of direct injection and considers whether it has been properly implemented in Polish legislation.
