SOME PECULIARITIES OF FORMING THE LEGAL COMPETENCE OF A JUNIOR BACHELOR IN A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the scientific status of the basic concepts of «competence», «competency», «legal competency», «legal competency of future specialist», «legal competency of junior bachelors of the humanities». It was found that the scientific definition of «competency» determined the presence of diverse interpretations and approaches to its study. It is noted that the legal competency of a future specialist cannot be formed without ensuring a high level of «legal nurturing», «legal education», «legal culture». The essence and specificity of the components of legal competency: cognitive, personal, axiological, reflexive-humanistic. The expediency of elaboration of the main components of the legal competency of subjects of the educational process in the humanities is proved. The main components of legal competency of junior bachelors of the humanities are characterized. It is proved that legal competency of junior bachelors of the humanities is a necessary component of professional activity of a future specialist. The exclusive role of the educational process of modern higher education in the formation of legal competency of junior bachelors of humanities institutions as a personal and professional quality of the student is emphasized.
