Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the problem of professional training of future medical professionals in the current context of globalization and integration into the European space. The positions of scientists on the importance of the organization of the educational process of future medical workers under the condition of using modern methodological tools are considered. Emphasis is placed on the importance of effective organization of the educational process in order to acquire integrated, general and professional competencies by future occupational therapists in the study of disciplines of the general cycle, in particular, chemistry. The research of scientists on the organization of the educational process in the conditions of student-centered learning is analyzed. Traditional teaching aids are highlighted and emphasis is placed on modern didactics.The essence of the principle of diversification is revealed, which provides for a variety of forms and methods of organizing the educational process in accordance with individual needs and goals, scientific erudition, personal qualities and goals, including the introduction of various methods in the educational process. volunteer group, lecture group, tutorial; conducting scientific and practical student conferences, practical classes in health care facilities). Specific examples of effective training of future rehabilitologists in the context of the implementation of the principle of diversification in the study of the discipline «Medical and Biological Chemistry», taking into account the competencies and learning outcomes specified in the educational and professional program. Algorithms for performing independent tasks, experimental work depending on the formed skills for performing certain exercises are described. The role of the tutor in performing certain tasks in the field of physical chemistry is presented, the possibility of using volunteer work in the study of disciplines of the general cycle is revealed. Prospects for studying the problem of organizing the educational process of occupational therapists in the context of integrated and project-based learning are indicated.
