Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the problem of effective use of remote learning in higher education institutions. The essence of the concept of remote learning, remote technologies are revealed. Psychological and pedagogical aspects of remote learning and its role in optimizing the training of future psychologists in higher education are described. It is proved that remote learning can take different forms, characterized by the separation in space or time of student and teacher, other students and learning materials and the interaction between student and teacher, other students and learning materials using one or more technologies. The psychological aspects of remote learning are specified in order to optimize the process of training future psychologists in higher education. Carried out the psychological analysis of advantages and problems of introduction of remote education in the educational process arising in the course of professional training of the future specialist in the conditions of remote learning. It is noted that the leading psychological and pedagogical conditions for the introduction of remote learning are: a sufficient level of computer literacy of teachers and students; availability of appropriate material and technical base; modeling of the educational environment, which includes effective mechanisms of practice-oriented approach. It is proved that remote learning is an urgent problem of today, which cannot completely replace face-to-face communication, but requires the transformation of scientific and methodological approaches to its implementation. The study offers recommendations for the organization of quality educational process in higher education in conditions of remote learning, in particular: the organization of psychological and pedagogical support for students in remote learning in order to individualize the educational process of higher education; taking into account the opportunities and prospects for the development of information and educational environment in the training of future professionals; use of mixed form – remote and full-time training in the process of training psychologists, taking into account the needs of students and the goals of professional education in the implementation of remote technologies; creation of a positive motivational and emotional environment in the organization of communication, interaction with the student in terms of remote learning;increasing the motivation of students to study in conditions of remote education as a resource of individual and professional self-realization; formation of psychological readiness of teachers and students to expand educational opportunities with the use of remote technologies systematic training of scientific and pedagogical staff to organize and conduct classes online; involving students in independent design of their own learning activities, effective monitoring of student learning outcomes, etc.).
