Summary/Abstract: The Macedonian language has a millennial tradition. It gave life to Slavic culture. The history of the Macedonian language is filled with a rich treasury of works written in the Macedonian language. But against this indigenous wealth, from the end of the 18th century, stood assimilationist propaganda that denied the existence of the Macedonian language, which opposed the idea of creating a Macedonian literary language. But in the 19th century, numerous Macedonian educators and revivalists made efforts to preserve and affirm the Macedonian vernacular. There are numerous publications of textbooks, dictionaries, grammars, poems, short stories, and publicistic publications in the Macedonian language and about the Macedonian language. The study discusses the most significant publications about the Macedonian language in the cultural and revolutionary revival of the Macedonian people.
