Memory of the Past of the Village of Jankowo in the Drawsko District in the Light of Interviews with its Inhabitants. A Research Reconnaissance

Summary/Abstract: The main target of this paper is to present the memory and knowledge about the local history and consciousness about the places of remembrance such as the historic granary designed by Walter Gropius in Jankowo, Drawsko Pomorskie municipality. The main research method used was interviews with the village residents. The main part of the paper is a synthesis of the main topics and common elements of the interviewed people’s statements with relevant quotes. This paper is a starting point for further research on the local historical consciousness of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship’s villages.
