Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the pedagogical model of Prof. Snezhina Tankovska in acting training for the Drama Theatre and Dance Theatre programs at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts. It explores her methodology as a process of artistic and personal self-knowledge and development in which theoretical context determines practice by navigating aesthetic quests, by freeing the creativity and by creating opportunities for unexpected associative links. The study focuses on the differences between the two performative languages, while also outlining their common pedagogical goals: building a free, reflective and self-aware artist.
