Summary/Abstract: Тhe article examines the genre features of poems of Belarusian authors of Poland and Belarus in the mainstream of the main literary trends of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. With the example of various works of Belarusian writers (including Borodulina or Chikvina), the leading trends in the development of the poem genre are noted: the processes of intergenerational and inter-genre interaction as well as characteristic features of the genre modifications of the poem are revealed.
