IMPACT AND REFLECTIONS OF THE MATTEI PLAN FOR AFRICA IN THE ALGERIAN PRESS: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS FROM A LOCAL PERSPECTIVE

Summary/Abstract: The Mattei Plan for Africa represents a policy of significant interest for Italy and its relationships with African countries, particularly those in North Africa, including Algeria. Algeria is considered a crucial partner for Italy, especially concerning its new policies related to the Mattei Plan for Africa. Therefore, in our study, we aim to examine the Mattei Plan for Africa through the lens of the Algerian press. We will analyze the critical interpretations of this plan and its influence on Italy's image in the eyes of public and political opinion in Algeria.
