Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the parish in Leszczawa Dolna during the Second World War. It discusses the villages which the parish was composed of at that time; however, it also makes a reference to the whole Przemyśl Diocese, in order to show a certain subject matter in a broader context. The turning point was the 1939–1945 period. Although on the territory discussed in the paper warfare had ended in 1944, the direct impact of the occupation lasted longer, the more so because local residents had to face the activity of Ukrainian nationalist bands, which did not end until 1947.
