Summary/Abstract: Academic literacy represents a fundamental pillar in initial teacher education, as professional communication skills directly influence the quality of teaching processes and educational interactions. This article explores the importance of integrating academic literacy development strategies — reflective writing, critical analysis of sources, interdisciplinary projects, and digital feedback — into the university curriculum. These strategies support the construction of professional discourse, the development of pedagogical vocabulary, and the formation of a well-articulated teaching identity. The study argues for the necessity of a coherent and collaborative approach that strengthens the essential communication competencies of future teachers.
