Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a critical re-reading of Ion Mureșan’s editorial debut in the light of the poetic standards established by the author in his Book Alcohol, thirty years later. A thin – typographical – volume, like the one in 1981, has triggered not only literary criticism and oral criticism, but also an authentic critical enthusiasm. It raised awareness and impressions about the Poet’s powerful visionary dimension, acknowledging the symbolic capitalized letter, for a particular type of poetry; Mureșan‘s criticism on large scale became non-criticism. The article points out an exception, represented by the analytical pages of Ion Bogdan Lefter, and explains the formula of this visionary lyricism confirmed by Ion Mureșan’s later poetic evolution.
