The Image of the World and Culture in the Light of Maria Grzegorzewska’s Correspondence in the Years 1906–1967

Summary/Abstract: This study was prepared on the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the National Institute of Special Education by Maria Grzegorzewska and granting her the title of Patroness of the Year 2022 by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. After a short presentation of Grzegorzewska’s life and activity, it shows the changing image of the world and culture seen through the prism of selected letters of this outstanding scholar from various periods of her life.
