Summary/Abstract: As statistics show an ever‑growing percentage of people who find their Path and their Truth on social networks, I turned to Virtual Identity with a multitude of questions in mind and only one certainty: that addiction can be explained through brain chemistry, whose secretion of dopamine (the neurotransmitter known as the pleasure hormone) is triggered whenever we feel validated — including by a like, a share, or a comment./ Posthumanism, metamodernism, critical theory, and theories of authorship lie at the center of Alex Ciorogar’s concerns. He has been a fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies in the United Kingdom, he coordinated a volume on Posthumanism, and he has contributed chapters to collective volumes published by prestigious foreign presses. I will stop the list here, which could go on longer than a review allows, but not before adding that for poetry lovers, Alex Ciorogar is, above all, the founder of OMG Publishing.
