Summary/Abstract: This paper indicates that Professor Andrzej Nowicki’s central philosophical category in the concept of the human being is a human being categorized as the creator of the world of works. The works determine the value of human beings, the wealth of their personality; add value and give sense to their life; immortalize their name. A fundamental inspiration for this conception was derived by A. Nowicki from the philosophy of the Renaissance, particularly from such thinkers as Giannozzo Manetti, Giordano Bruno and Giulio Cesare Vanini.
