Summary/Abstract: Andrzej Nowicki began his philosophy of culture with sketching an atheist perspective of the immortality of the name which will survive in the works created by the human being. The category of the name was substituted with neologisms: ergantrophy (the real presence of human beings in the things created by them), incontrology (theory of encounters, meetings), “spacecentrism” (searching for the lacunae that can be filled with one’s work), acme (the peak). Nowicki considers the human being’s crowning achievements: Philosophy, Poetry, Painting and Music to be Culture. The measure of the value of the works are their novelty, originality and ability to stimulate creation. Professor Nowicki called the task of creating High and Profound Culture Athena Creanda.
