Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the results of an injury analysis conducted on victims of a traffic accident and to reconstruct the mechanisms by which those injuries occurred, with particular emphasis on differentiating between primary and secondary trauma. The investigation applied insights from the field of physical anthropology, which facilitated, among other outcomes, the identification of the directions of external forces responsible for bodily damage. The conclusions were drawn from limited evidence contained in the case files, including descriptive postmortem examination reports and photographs taken at the accident scene. The analysis revealed a pronounced asymmetry in the extent and severity of injuries sustained by the victims. These injuries were examined biomechanically with respect to the directional influence of external forces. Skin abrasions, surface contamination, and damage to clothing enabled a partial reconstruction of the victims’ movement trajectories following impact. Based on the available data, credible insights into the direction of force and sequence of impacts during the collision were successfully established.
