Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of acceleration and braking tests of a Toyota RAV4 AWD vehicle. The tests recorded by four devices capable of measuring vehicle longitudinal dynamics: XL-Meter decelerometer, VBox Sport GPS data logger, GoPro Hero10 action camera and TESTEK Expert application installed on a smartphone. The obtained results were compared in terms of calculated values of the mean fully developed deceleration (MFDD), acceleration time to 100 km/h and speed changes. The findings indicate that each of the tested devices enables the determination of the mean fully developed braking deceleration with an accuracy sufficient for traffic accident reconstruction. However, for speed measurements, particularly for determining the time required to reach a specific speed value, it is recommended to use devices that directly record speed, since speeds obtained by numerical integration of the longitudinal acceleration signal may be subject to error. The TESTEK Expert application calculates MFDD values comparable to those obtained with the XL-Meter device and can be us
