Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of archiving web resources created by public administration bodies, including central and local government administrations, courts, and other public institutions. The first part of the article defines public administration web resources and briefly outlines the fundamentals of web archiving. The author then highlights the importance of this activity and refers to initiatives such as the Internet Archive, established in the United States in 1996, as well as national web archives. Next the article analyzes the work of initiatives specializing in the collection and preservation of web resources produced by public administrations, such as the UK Government Web Archive and the End of Term Web Archive. These initiatives can be divided into two main categories: projects that archive government content in general, and those that focus on specifici nstitutions or events. Finally, the a rticle a lso d iscusses other approaches used for the preservation of such resources.
