Summary/Abstract: The modern labor market is undergoing dynamic changes resulting from technological development, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. This is leading to the emergence and development of more flexible forms of employment. These changes are particularly important for people with disabilities, who are especially vulnerable to exclusion from the labor market. For these people, work is not only a source of livelihood but also a prerequisite for their full social integration. The spread of remote working has created new opportunities for the professional activation of people with disabilities, enabling them to work in conditions adapted to their individual needs and psychophysical limitations. The introduction of provisions on remote work into the Polish Labor Code, on the other hand, provides opportunities for greater professional and social activation of this group of employees and implements the principle of social inclusion. Moreover, an important element supporting this idea is the provision of reasonable accommodations, which ensures equal opportunities in employment.
