Summary/Abstract: Connecting generations in nursing homes is becoming an increasingly important topic. In the context of demographic aging and the growing social isolation of older adults, this approach is gaining significance. The paper discusses intergenerational collaboration in the Nursing Home Staff Ostrava and various aspects involved. Intergenerational projects play a vital role here, enriching not only the lives of seniors but also younger generations who come into contact with them. The goal is not only to analyze the most common causes of intergenerational barriers in the nursing home but, more importantly, to present practical approaches to overcoming them and showcase numerous specific examples demonstrating how different generations can be connected for mutual benefit. Systematic support of intergenerational programs is crucial for building a cohesive and inclusive society.
