Summary/Abstract: Contemporary business society is increasingly moving towards the services sector, which focuses significance of the service quality and the employee satisfaction in providing quality service in order to secure competitive advantages of the companies. The main purpose of this research was to examine satisfaction with human resource management in the service sector among respondents of various socio demographic characteristics. As socio demographic characteristics authors used the following: gender, marital status, place of residence of the respondents, vocational degree and amount of monthly income. For that purpose, the original empirical research was conducted within the company Post of Serbia. IBM SPSS program 25 was used for statistical analysis. The key findings confirm the hypotheses set and indicate significant differences in the perception of HR management depending on socio-demographic factors. The research results emphasize the importance of individual, regional and economic factors in the perception of human resources management, which can be useful for further research and improvement of HR practices in the contemporary companies.
