Summary/Abstract: Achondroplasia is the most common form of congenital skeletal dysplasia, which has its own specific characteristics. The literature describes delays in motor functions, delays in speech development, but without further specification. Parents and educators of children with achondroplasia must deal with specific situations based on practice, as there is no professional literature that provides a theoretical basis for working with these children. The paper focuses on the description of grapho-motor skills in a child with achondroplasia, as this is an area that is disturbed due to the specifics in the development of fine motor skills, and it is necessary to create specific conditions for the development of this area. In the paper, the author presents examples of good practice from the pilot project of the inclusive kindergarten in Slovakia.
