Summary/Abstract: Sports games are fundamental to the overall development of children, as they showcase their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through diverse sensory experiences, building imagination and creativity, and teaching social skills and rules. Through play, children explore the world, develop confidence, learn to solve problems and manage their emotions. This, in turn, helps them become more confident and fulfilled individuals. The following methods were used in the present study: theoretical and logical analysis of available literary sources, pedagogical observation, survey research method, sports and pedagogical experiment, comparative analysis of results. The article aims to analyze the possibilities of game technologies in physical education and sports lessons for developing the social skills of seven-year-old students. These technologies, when applied in physical education and sports lessons, increase motor activity, cooperation, and communication skills of first-grade students. The results prove their effectiveness as a means of developing social skills and positive interaction between first-graders in the process of physical education.
