Summary/Abstract: The ability of a residence to completely meet its energy needs from renewable sources on its own, hence lowering reliance on traditional networks, is known as energy independence. In this paper, concrete solutions will be analyzed and proposed for optimizing electricity consumption in the particular case of an autonomous house project. To achieve the objective, three short, medium and long-term solutions will be proposed which will be analyzed using the principles of economic engineering.
