Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this study is to determine whether work-life balance has a mediating role in the effect of employees' work life quality on their career satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach – The research was conducted with the quantitative research method. In this context, the survey technique was adopted in the research. The research was conducted with the participation of employees working in the public sector in Aksaray province and data was obtained from a total of 264 employees. Data were collected using questionnaires consisting of demographic variables, work life quality, career satisfaction and work-life balance scales. Normality test, reliability test, descriptive statistics tests, explanatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and simple regression analysis were applied to the obtained data. Results – As a result of the analyses conducted, it was determined that the quality of employees' work life affects their career satisfaction and that work life balance plays a partial mediating role in this relationship. Discussion – In today's business life, employees need to establish and maintain their work life balance well in order to be successful. In addition, in order to ensure the quality of work life, employees need to progress successfully in their careers and be satisfied with their careers. The work life quality of employees who can achieve this will also increase. It is thought that this research will contribute to increasing the quality of employees' work life by achieving career satisfaction through work life balance.
