Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to determine the level of bullying and cyberbullying exposure of high school students, to examine and compare these behaviors according to gender, school and class level, and to examine prevention studies in this direction. The population of the research consists of 441 students of a high school in Kadıköy/Istanbul. According to the results of the research, it was seen that the types of bullying and victimization were not related to gender, but bullying was higher in boys than girls. While verbal and emotional bullying is more common in girls, physical bullying is more common in boys. As the grade level of the students increases, the rate of being exposed to bullying decreases and the students stated that they are exposed to bullying the most when the teacher is not in the classroom. It has been determined that students who do not like school are exposed to more bullying than those who do. It has been determined that adolescents who are exposed to peer bullying are three times more likely to use tobacco than those who are not exposed. It was reported that 56% of those who were exposed to peer bullying did not share it with anyone, and 28.6% did. In order to prevent bullying, teachers, students, victims, perpetrators and eyewitnesses should be included in the prevention program. Bullying can happen not only at school, but also on the street, at home, or elsewhere. The prevention program should be carried out not only in schools but also in different areas.
