Summary/Abstract: Living in a globalized and increasingly hurried society, which gives us only little time for knowing and understanding our roots, the individual’s connection to the past seems to be getting weaker by the day, as people are more focused on the needs of the present and less aware of how important the past is for their own development and affirmation. Nevertheless, in this contemporary melting pot represented by the nowadays world, there is still room for those who try to keep/recover and to place in the proper historical background their family history in order to obtain a clear picture of their identity, professional and social evolution and affirmation.
