Summary/Abstract: This paper compares four speeches given by the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni. Two of them were given in institutional settings with a mixed audience, while the other two were given in more informal settings before a conservative audience. The paper aims to analyse the differences and similarities. In this way, it will be possible to outline the fundamental elements of Meloni’s political narrative and assess how flexible her communication is. This will be done within the framework of the works of Fairclough (2003) about political correctness and the relation between language, power, and culture, and Lakoff’s (2016) study about political narratives in the American social scenario.
