The first is the eff ort to evaluate already available historiography on non-military uniformed formations (State Police, Silesian Voivodeship Police, Border Protection Corps, Border Guard, Prison Guard and National Railway Guard). They had been organized and trained along military lines and were responsible for internal security of the Second Polish Republic.
