Summary/Abstract: The Exhibitions of the South Bulgarian Artists’ Society through the Sight of the Art Critic Vassil Dimov (Abstract) The South Bulgarian Artists’ Society was formed in 1911. Right from its first exhibition it caught the eyesight of the art critic Vassil Dimov. During the following years Dimov multiply reflected on these artists’ activities within various publications, commented hereunder. His articles in the periodicals Hudozhestvena Kultura [Art Culture] (1910-1914; 1927-1930), La Bulgarie (1928-1932) and Uchitelska Misal [Teacher’s Thought] (1931) are important documental material on the Society’s progress as well as on opportunity to complement our present information about authors and artworks.
