Summary/Abstract: Throughout the legacy of Bulgarian composers, folklore songs with piano accompaniment as a part of the vocal chamber music genres, are mostly well researched, but studies on ensemble issues arising with accompanying free meter songs, performed by folklore singers, are almost non-existent. This research paper examines that issue, by tracing significant and specific problems for the accompanist.
