A Parallel Between Bureaucratic Organizations Then And Now. An Opportunity To Build The "Ideal" Organization

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to analyze the evolution of the bureaucratic model of governance by drawing a parallel between its historical forms and contemporary manifestations in the context of digital transformation. The focus is on a critical analysis of the classical theories of Max Weber, Henri Fayol, and Karl Marx, as well as on modern public administration concepts (New Public Management, Good Governance). Through a comparative analysis, the main challenges facing the bureaucratic organization are identified, and the possibilities for its optimization are discussed. The results indicate that while Weber's „ideal“ type remains a theoretical benchmark, modern adaptations focused on flexibility, transparency, and citizen orientation offer practical ways to increase efficiency.
