The contribution of the folk instrument orchestra to the evolution of Bulgarian folk music

Summary/Abstract: Removed from it’s natural environment, changing it’s status and purpose, musical folklore loses not only them, but also it’s prototype. One of the main factors for this is the appearance of the treatment of previously authentic song or instrumental material. The whole process from the birth of the orchestra of folk instruments, through the passage of various evolutionary stages to today, creates natural reasons that are inevitably needed. This gives a significant and explicable reflection on the evolution of Bulgarian folk music.
