Summary/Abstract: The article examines the syntax of Dr. Petar Beron in his “Рибен буквар“ and in particular – the subordinate adverbial clause and its subtypes. The number of complex sentences and compound-comlex sentences and the average number of subordinate adverbial clauses. Through examples taken from some sections of the text, we noted the ways of connecting subordinate adverbial clauses within the sentences. We also presented a syntactic tree of complex sentence with subordinate adverbial clauses. The study used a descriptive and quantitative method.
