Summary/Abstract: The article presents the data of an experiment for eliciting renarrative aorist forms, present tense forms, and past passive participles by preschool children (aged 5–7 years) with normal language development and with specific language impairments (SLI). Special attention is paid to the overgeneralizations in children’s production. The results show that all children produce overgeneralizations, but children with SLI compared to children with normal language development display both a higher total number of errors, and a higher variety of overgeneralized forms.
