Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present the importance of digital education for students. Digital education, civic participation and countering disinformation are interdependent dimensions of the contemporary educational process that require an integrated and strategic approach. Preparing young people for responsible and informed civic participation in the digital society requires the development of complex skills that transcend the boundaries of traditional disciplines and require innovative pedagogical methodologies. Disinformation represents one of the most serious threats to democracy in the digital age.
