Summary/Abstract: The present paper explores the complex interrelations between education, religion, art, science, and technology within the framework of “Digital Education, Civic Participation, and Disinformation.” The study emphasizes the historical and contemporary evolution of learning as a defining factor of human existence, from the early schools of antiquity to today’s digitally transformed educational systems. The discussion outlines three analytical layers: (1) the structural components of digital education, civic engagement, and information integrity; (2) the nature, consistency, accessibility, and security of digital knowledge; (3) the transformative processes, concepts, tools, and methods underpinning digitalization. The paper further addresses the challenges of information perennity, the risks associated with misinformation and cyber insecurity, and the implications of artificial intelligence and digital technologies for ethical and civic life. It highlights the growing dependence of education, economy, and social life on digital literacy, as well as institutional responses such as national cybersecurity frameworks and educational reforms (e.g., Educated Romania). In conclusion, the study calls for individual responsibility in cultivating knowledge, culture, and moral awareness amid the overwhelming flow of digital information.
