Summary/Abstract: This research examines the determinants that affect the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) within the context of Indonesia, emphasizing the roles of governmental incentives, consumer intention, and environmental concerns. Employing a quantitative methodology complemented by PLS-SEM analysis on survey data derived from 180 consumers, the results indicate that financial incentives exert a significant influence on purchase intention (IT), which subsequently propels actual purchase behavior (PB). Furthermore, environmental concern (EC) serves as a moderating variable in this dynamic, amplifying the probability of transition from intention to actual purchase. These findings underscore the imperative of harmonizing financial incentives with environmental consciousness to expedite the adoption of EVs. The study offers empirical contributions that are pertinent for policymakers and industry stakeholders in the advancement of sustainable transportation initiatives. Future inquiries should investigate supplementary factors such as cultural influences and technological readiness, alongside longitudinal studies aimed at monitoring the progression of consumer behavior trends.
