Summary/Abstract: Recent debates in International Relations have increasingly focused on the crisis of multilateralism and the rise of flexible diplomatic formats such as minilateral diplomacy, functional peace, and pragmatic cooperation. As global governance mechanisms stagnate, states have turned to limited, issue-specific arrangements, prompting renewed attention to how peace can be sustained under competitive conditions. Yet these frameworks remain underexplored in regions like the South Caucasus, where historical rivalries and geopolitical fragmentation persist. This article integrates the concepts of minilateral diplomacy and compartmentalized cooperation to examine alternative pathways to regional stability. Through the cases of the Middle Corridor, the Zangezur Corridor, and the 2025 Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative, it demonstrates how regional peace emerges not through comprehensive institutions but through fragmented yet functional networks of diplomacy that manage, rather than eliminate, competition.
