Wu Leyi’s piano teaching system

Summary/Abstract: Wu Leyi was the first generation piano educator in China. She studied piano performance with Russian pianist Boris Zakharoff, French pianist Marguerite Long and Yves Nat. As piano professor, her teaching combined the concepts of Russia and France, the technical basis of Russia and the whole body coordination of the French Nat school, and the essence of Margaret Long's soft and hazy finger technique school, and cultivated a large number of excellent piano players and educators for China.
