Summary/Abstract: Dance represents a unique form of artistic and bodily expression that transcends linguistic and cultural barriers, positioning itself as a powerful pedagogical tool for enhancing acceptance and social inclusion within educational environments. This paper explores the educational value of dance, focusing on its potential to foster empathy, collaboration, and respect among students from diverse backgrounds. Through theoretical analysis based on frameworks such as Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences and social learning theory, combined with empirical evidence from school programs in Greece and abroad, the study highlights how dance can strengthen emotional, social, and physical development. Particular at tention is given to dance’s role in the inclusion of students with disabilities and those from immigrant communities. Findings underline the necessity of systematically integrating dance into school curricula through interdisciplinary approaches, teacher training, and collaborations with professional artists. Ultimately, dance emerges not merely as an artistic activity but as a dynamic medium for building inclusive, empathetic, and culturally aware school communities.
