Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to adapt the Workplace Mindfulness Scale, developed by Zheng et al. (2023), into Turkish and to test its validity and reliability. The research was conducted with the participation of 346 employees working in the private sector in the province of Ankara. To examine the validity of the scale, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed first, followed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). To assess reliability, internal consistency coefficients were calculated and convergent and discriminant validity are also tested. The results of the EFA indicated that the 16 items are grouped under three factors, explaining approximately 66% of the total variance. Findings from the CFA also demonstrated that the fit indices of the three-factor model are at an acceptable level (χ2 /df=2.73, CFI=0.94, NFI=0.91, TLI=0.93, GFI=0.91, AGFI=0.88, RMSEA=0.07). The internal consistency coefficients for the scale dimensions ranging between 0.86 and 0.89 support the reliability of the scale as a measurement instrument. Additionally, analyses of convergent and discriminant validity confirmed that the required criteria are met. These findings suggest that the Workplace Mindfulness Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool for use in the Turkish cultural context.
