Summary/Abstract: The study examines the potential of beekeeping and bee tourism to promote sustainable development in rural areas. In this context, it is aimed to reveal the effects of beekeeping and bee tourism activities in Bolu province on the economy and development of the region. For this purpose, the study used the interview technique, one of the qualitative data research methods, and face-to-face interviews were conducted with beekeepers selected from the region within the scope of purposeful sampling. The data obtained from the participants through the semistructured questionnaire was subjected to content analysis. In addition, it focuses on creating awareness about bee tourism activities and their contribution to the sustainability of beekeeping enterprises. Accordingly, it is concluded that beekeeping activities in the region in particular create economic impact and support rural development. However, it is concluded that the participants did not have sufficient knowledge within the scope of bee tourism, they included a limited number of bee tourism activities, and that bee tourism would play an important role in the development and sustainability of the region if education and subvention were provided.
