Summary/Abstract: A person’s spirituality and religiosity shape one’s attitude to passing, old age and death. They coexist with the value system that disabled seniors feel when they reflect on the achievements of both their own lives and those of others. When seniors lose self-reliance, a major role in sustaining participation in spiritual and religious practices is played by their family or caregivers. This article presents an excerpt from a broader study relating to the religiosity of elderly people with disabilities. It shows what role family caregivers can play in enabling seniors to actively participate in religious life. The analysis of the research material shows that participation in church practices, or religiosity, is an important area of behavioural change according to family caregivers.
