Summary/Abstract: The correct use of human capital directly affects the fighting power of businesses in the competitive market. The life course of a business that is in harmony and integration with its employees is always long-lasting. A prevailing perception of justice and equality within the organization and treating employees without discrimination brings with it an increase in performance and productivity. This study addresses the glass ceiling, which is defined as sets that are placed in front of female employees and are not clearly visible. The glass ceiling is a phenomenon that involves barriers to women's employment and vertical career opportunities. The purpose of this conceptual article is; the aim is to explain the glass ceiling that causes the deterioration of the organizational atmosphere, to emphasize the obstacles to career advancement, including senior management and to provide information that will guide the strategies to be created against the glass ceiling. Additionally, this article; It is thought that it will guide researchers and shed light on other studies to be conducted in the future
