Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to reflect on the thesis of anomalous monism proposedby an American philosopher Donald Davidson. In this article I ask the question: whetherthe scientific laws formulated by the 19th century Psychophysical School can negate thestatement about the anomalousness of psychology. I justify the support for a positive an-swer by (1) defining psychophysical laws as empirical and statistical, (2) understandingintentionality as a gradable feature of mental phenomena, (3) applying the concept ofholism and (4) the possibility of using the language of mathematics.
