Summary/Abstract: The article provides a detailed and rigorous analysis of the current situation of Romanian education in Covasna County, using accurate and up-to-date statistical data. The study presents punctually, for each locality and school institution, the number of pupils, the existing classes and theethnic structure of the locality as well as the situation of the Romanian-speaking school population. Demographic and educational trends that directly affect Romanian schools are identified and analyzed, highlighting the continuous decrease in the number of pupils and the shrinking of Romanian language classes. In particular, the research highlights the critical situations in some localities where Romanian-language education is in danger of disappearing, emphasizing the strategic importance of educational policies based on statistical data, aimed at ensuring the preservation of the cultural and linguistic identity of the Romanian communities in these counties.
